HIE Planning Awards

CalOHII is pleased to announce the following HIE Planning Grants. This funding is intended to support community-based needs assessments, goal-setting, project planning, and governance development for HIE initiatives in the planning stage.

In the summer of 2012, Cal eConnect initiated several HIE funding opportunities on behalf of CHHS/CalOHII as part of the State HIE Cooperative Agreement Program, including HIE Planning Grants, requesting letters of intent followed by proposals from qualified applicants. HIE Planning Grants will be awarded directly from CHHS and administered through the Institute for Population Health Improvement (IPHI) at the UC Davis Health System in conjunction with other HIE programs funded by CHHS.
