CalOHII is committed to supporting secure health information movement in California.

The California Office of Health Information Integrity's (CalOHII) focus is to advance the secure movement of electronic health information, while ensuring that the data is protected and exchanged under strict medical privacy and confidentiality standards.

CalOHII Director, Pamela Lane, explains how CalOHII's work continues to support better health and outcomes in California:

"CalOHII's work is making confidential health information available when and where it's needed. For the past four years, the focus has been on the grant project to move patient information securely to providers, payers, and patients themselves. Now we'll work on expanding those 'lessons learned' to coordinate data exchange among State departments that manage patient information."
