Health & Safety Code 103850(d) (1995, amended 2001)

Summary:

Any disclosure under this section shall be limited to the information necessary for the purpose stated in the disclosure request and shall only be made upon written agreement that information will be kept confidential, used for the stated purpose, and not further disclosed.

Health & Safety Code 103850(h) (2001): Any person who violates written agreement to maintain confidentiality, discloses any information provided, or uses information in a manner other than approved may be denied further access to the confidential information and subject to a $500 civil penalty. This subsection does not restrict any department or personal remedies provided by law.
